A Journey Rooted in Karachi
Born on June 10, 1971, at 7:30 PM in Jamal Noor Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan, Kamaal Sinaan grew up in a city vibrant with culture and creativity. His early years at Corks School in the iconic PECHS Block 2 building, known as “Cheel Wali Kothie,” sparked a lifelong passion for design. Influenced by his father, a renowned fashion designer who won acclaim for designing the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) air hostess uniform in 1989–1990, Kamaal developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship and aesthetic excellence that would shape his illustrious career.
A Stellar Education in Architecture and Beyond
Kamaal Sinaan’s academic journey laid a strong foundation for his architectural prowess. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture in 1993 and a Master’s degree, likely in Architecture or Urban Design, in 1995, both from the prestigious University of Manitoba, Canada. His commitment to sustainable design was cemented in 2010 with a LEED Accreditation as a Professional in Building Design and Construction from the U.S. Green Building Council. As an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Kamaal remains at the forefront of global design trends.
Demonstrating his relentless pursuit of excellence, Kamaal recently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, a top-ranked European institution. This program, recognized across the European Higher Education Area, equips professionals with advanced skills in business administration, strategic management, and decision-making. By pursuing this MBA, Kamaal is enhancing his expertise in leadership and enterprise management, ensuring archentire’s continued growth in a competitive global market.

In 2010, Kamaal Sinaan founded Archentire in Islamabad, Pakistan, with a mission to blend art and architecture, crafting spaces that resonate with cultural heritage while embracing futuristic innovation. As Principal Architect and CEO, he has elevated Archentire into a global design powerhouse. In 2023, he expanded the firm’s legacy with BHL-Archentire in Riyadh, contributing to Saudi Vision 2030 and shaping the Kingdom’s urban future.
With over 30 years of experience, Kamaal has led multidisciplinary teams in creating transformative projects across Pakistan, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the USA. His leadership fosters collaboration, mentors young architects, and pushes the boundaries of design excellence.
